Aloha! To Grandma and Grandpa Lambert

We are so excited to finally have some visitors come see us in Hawaii! Grandma and Grandpa Lambert are here to spend the Thanksgiving holiday with us. While here, we hope to show them a good time so they will want to come back. We have some fun stuff planned for the upcoming two weeks.
Corynn and Grandma at the airport. Dallin and Grandpa at the airport
We took Mom and Dad to the Pali Overlook, which had breathtaking views of the Winward side of Oahu. Aren't they such a cute couple?
Like I said...breathtaking!
We stopped at Bellows Beach (our favorite on the island so far) on our drive today. While there, we made reservations to camp next week. I am used to camping in the mountains with a tent and fire, but camping in an ocean side cabin should be a fun experience.

We wish we were in Hawaii enjoying all of those fun things. We are excited for you to go to Maui. Make sure you go to Hale Akala, the road to Hannah, and the eye of the needle. There is a fun tiki torch lighting that they do every night at sunset by your hotel. There is a legend that the spirits who die leave earth from the black rock by your hotel. So every night they have a guy light the torches to the black rock then jump in the ocean with the torch to represent the spirit leaving this earth. Really cool. We are so excited for Dad and mom to be there with you. Sounds like you have lots of fun plans. We miss you!

I bet you had to pull teeth to get them to come to warm, gorgeous, tropical, and intoxicating Hawaii compared to cold weather, freezing temps in Utah, right? I am sure you all will have a Happy Thanksgiving!!
